Begins as a sandy fire road but loops back just before the bypass bridge as a sandy singletrack.
From Great Bridge bypass, take Battlefield Blvd south exit. Head South on Battlefield, take last left before drawbridge. Entrance to park is on the left. Trail head is at the rear of the parking lot on the right.
